Señor Glitterrosa

Señor Glitterrosa is a colorful and energetic sign language and vocal artist who combines music, sign language and show to create a musical experience that is both inclusive and visual. Through my unique style, filled with glitter, pink and love, I bring music to life in a way that touches both hearing and sign language users.

My art is an expression that music is for everyone – regardless of language or background. I want to show that we can all experience music in different ways and that there is a magic in visual music. My performances are a celebration of diversity, community, love and inclusion, where together we create a world where everyone feels seen and heard.

The man behind Señor Glitterrosa

My name is Andreas Haugland Ausland, and I was born in 1995 in the small town of Risør, Agder county in Norway. Today I live both in Kiruna, Sweden, and in Risør, Norway, together with my dear Kevin.

I am a proud Norwegian, Sami, Kven, Forest Finn, disabled and homosexual. I have always had a great commitment to human rights and have been an active advocate for people with disabilities and the LGBT+ environment for many years. I have arranged 17 pride parades in Agder in Norway and participated in countless actions for equality and inclusion.

As an artist, I want to use my voice and my art to make a difference. I have been a sign language artist since 2016 and have had the pleasure of performing at festivals, pride events and larger stages, such as during the Melodi Grand Prix 2023, where I interpreted the chorus of "La det svinge". It has always been my passion to make sign language music accessible to more people and create a stage where both hearing and sign language users can experience music in a new and magical way.

A revolution in music

I challenge the boundaries of what music can be. With a combination of live vocals and sign language interpreted music, I create a completely unique, visual experience. My goal is to make sign language music known to a wider audience and show the world how beautiful and meaningful visual music can be.

I have performed on stages from Melodi Grand Prix to several pride festivals, and I am on my way to taking the world by storm. Through my music, I want to show that love can overcome everything, and that no matter who we are or where we come from, we can stand together and celebrate diversity.

My music is a mix of pop, Nordic mysticism and an unmatched stage personality, where glitter and pink light up the stage and remind us of the power of love and inclusion.
